In the Happy place

Today started early. We booked out of an amazing airbnb in Bansha, Tipperary. We loved the stunning views, countryside and homely feel of this place. There was a state forest nearby and we decided to go for a forest walk before starting a long day of travel. How awesome was that. Green damp, deep, dark forests so quiet and beautiful. We were instantly in our happy place. We would love to go back one day to the Tipperary area. It reminded me of the Knysna forest and George area in the Cape province South Africa

.

Then on towards Portmagee stopping on the Ring of Kerry to see sights. I tried balancing these rocks and it worked- I saw a guy on facebook do it and are so pleased with my stack! Ryan also tried it and made a very pleasing tower. The beach had chocolate brown sand and loads of pink rocks. It was one of those rare sunny and hot days in Ireland.

Beautiful views!

We booked into another beautiful farmhouse in Portmagee with a little river running through it! Ernest deserved a Guinness again after some stressful driving on narrow roads. It is cold enough for a fire with peat turf.
