Kids Play Dough

Here is my best ever play dough recipe.
I stays fresh for weeks outside the fridge provided you put it in a sealed container.
This also is the recipe I used in a pre- primary school before my homeschool days.

Play dough

2 cups All- purpose Flour
1 cup Salt
4 teaspoons Cream of Tartar (1packet)
2 cups Water
3 tablespoons cooking oil
Few drops food colouring
(If you like a few drops vanilla essence)

Beat together in a pot until smooth
Put on stove of medium to high heat and cook/boil while stirring
After +/- 3 min it will form into a ball, try and lift it and flip in the pot so it is not sticky any more, then turn out onto kitchen bench.
Be careful it is hot, but start to kneed for a short while until smooth.
My kids love to play with the warm play dough best of all.
